Libraries around the world are supported by donations from their patrons. If you would like to support the Carnegie Public Library, please choose one or more of these three accounts which depend on donations from the public.

The Friends of the Library is the 501(C)3 fund raising arm of the Carnegie Public Library. They are vital to the library and use their funds to support and cooperate with the library in developing library services and facilities for Big Timber and Sweet Grass County.

The Carnegie Public Library Capital Resource Fund

Mission statement: The CPL is funded every year by public tax dollars from the City of Big Timber and Sweet Grass County. The goal of the CPL Capital Resources Fund is to fund programs, projects and necessities not provided for in the regular budget. The monies will be used to enhance library operations above and beyond what the budget provides.

The Carnegie Public Library Endowment Fund campaign is now underway. Through the Montana Community Foundation donations are invested and will provide support for the new library facility for generations to come.
