Minutes from January 8, 2010 Meeting

Attending: Nancy Snyder, Cindy Rasche, Beccy Oberly, Maggi Buttrell, Sue Tooley, Mary Lou Gasienica, Kathy Jones, Dale Garrett, and Jacque Scott

President Kathy Jones called the meeting to order at 12:10 p.m.

Treasurer's Report: Balance as of January 1, 2010 was $2,319.06

Jacque gave a update on the FOL Book Club. The first meeting will be January 12 at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Meeting Room. This will be an organizational meeting.

Jacque will take a picture of the bookcase purchased by FOL using memorial donations in the memory of Teck Brown. Beccy has the email addresses of the donors and will email pictures of the bookcase to them. The plaque will be installed when it arrives.

The FOL Summer Project will be to update the mailing lists.

The menu was finalized for the Soup and Bread Luncheon to be held in February, 2010.

Kate has requested $95 plus shipping for a Montana Guide Book. Dale moved, Mary Lou seconded, all ayes carried the motion to purchase the book.

Jacque requested money to purchase items for the New Baby kits (bag, books, bibs, and early literacy materials). Cindy moved, Nancy seconded, and all ayes carried the motion. Ads will be placed in the local paper near Mother's Day, near the beginning of the school year, and Christmas.

Meeting was adjourned at 12:50 p.m. The next FOL meeting will be held on February 5, 2010 at noon in the Community Meeting Room.
