Minutes from FOL Annual Meeting April 14, 2010

Vice President Mary Lou Gasienica opened the meeting at 12:10 p.m. in the absence of President Kathy Jones, who was unable to attend. Members present were Beccy Oberly, Nancy Bruce, GenievaPrice, Cindy Rasch, Nancy Snyder, Dale Garrett, Maggie Buttrell, Alice Tyler, and Barb Sell.

Treasurer's Report:  Nancy did not have the final exact balance in the checking account. However, it is in the about $1,500.00.

NEW BUSINESS:  The slate of officers was presented by Mary Lou for approval. The slate was approved with no discussion, no dissension, and all ayes. The 2010-2011 FOL officers are as follows:  President - Kathy Jones, Vice President - Mary Lou Gassienica, Treasurer - Nancy Bruce, Secretary - Dale Garrett, and Member-at-Large - Cindy Rasch.

Beccy announced the Sweet Grass Readers Book Club (sponsored by FOL) has changed the meeting date to the third Tuesday morning of each month, at 10:30 a.m. The SGRBC will meet in the Community Room of the Library.

Dale moved to close the meeting. The meeting was adjourned at 12:25 p.m.

Lunch was served and the book sale opened at noon.
